FAQ

What is a hemp extract

There are currently 113 known cannabinoids found in hemp plants. You can primarily find CBD and THC in higher quantities, with lesser cannabinoids such as CBN and CBG in lower quantities. All of these cannabinoids contained in full-spectrum products work together through the entourage effect for a more therapeutic effect for the consumer. This enhanced synergy is lost in Isolate products.

What is in a cannabinoid

Cannabinoids are chemical compounds found in cannabis and hemp. The most commonly known compounds are THC and CBD. CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid, and
tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the only psychoactive cannabinoid.

What does CBD do?

CBD interacts with the body through our endocannabinoid system. The
endocannabinoid system manages the body’s equilibrium, or state of balance. This helps maintain a healthy you.

Does CBD contain THC?

There is still a trace amount of THC left in the plant and its products when it is a full
spectrum extract, but not in our THC-free products. The total THC level cannot exceed
.3% legally, which could potentially show up on a drug screen or a field test used by law
enforcement. This knowledge is essential to know before using any of Cannatrait’s
products.
